Position: Storekeeper (Chemical industry-WEST)
Availability: Immediate
Salary: $1600-$2300

Responsibilities:
Major Responsibilities:
**Applicants must be physically fit and able to store drums in an orderly manner using Forklift or manual rolling or lifting.

1. Receiving, checking, storing and issuing of materials of inbound shipments in good condition.
2. Verifying quantities, condition and types of items received against purchase orders and/or delivery notes.
3. Updating and maintaining proper records of all items received and issued for easy traceability of items.
4. Ensuring issuance of raw materials and intermediates in a timely manner to production.
5. Liaising with customer service department with regard to product issue and timely loading and transportation of shipment to meet customers’ needs.
6. Preparing goods according to the delivery orders issued.
7. Carrying out proper labeling and marking on drums or packages.
8. Managing the timely loading and transportation of goods.
9. Coordinating with cross functional departments to meet shipment requirements, inventory targets as well as maintaining a sustained delivery and quality performance.
10. Properly stacked goods in the warehouse to optimize the warehouse space utilization and storage.
11. Maintaining stock accuracy, checking that physical quantity tallies with inventory records.
12. Participating in the quarterly physical stock count to eliminate variances.
13. Maintaining of forklift to ensure that it is in good condition and safe to use.

Requirements:
· Secondary education
Prior experience in warehousing/related environment or work activities is a must

Forklift licence would be an added advantage but not compulsory
· Minimum 2 years’ of relevant working experience in similar capacity

· Physically fit and energetic
· Responsible with hands-on approach and hard working
· Good interpersonal and communication skills
· Effective team player and competent to work independently
· Basic computer proficiency is preferred
· Ability to operate and drive forklift efficiently and safely

· Singapore / PR/ MALAYSIAN / WORK PERMIT HOLDERS / S PASS Working in Singpapore
Foreigners in Singapore

Working hours: Monday – Friday: 08.30 – 5.00 pm
