We are searching for a Software Developer (.NET Web Application) to expand our business. The role would ideally suit someone with solid Technical knowledge and experience in developing a large scale Web-based application that can scale with business needs. This position is required to develop and understand system performance metrics and must have the ability to isolate difficult production problems. He/ She must have the practical experience working within a similar role along with proven commercial experience.

Software Developer (.NET Web Application)

Responsibilities:

Responsible for design, development, enhance and deliver complex Web based applications.
Assess requirements & estimate time & resources to create solutions
Design, implement and deliver compelling solutions that meet the product requirements
Perform prototyping to validate implementation approaches
Accurately identify, enumerate and estimate work tasks for project schedules that you will consistently deliver.

Reporting to: Director

Required Skills:
Advanced sense of User Experience when creating features & widgets
Strong skills in .NET (ASP.NET, C#), Ajax, Web Services
Strong Knowledge in SQL Languages and Stored procedures (MS SQL 2000/2005, MySQL)
Strong skills in supporting CSS across major browsers Strong skills with semantic XHTML
Expert skills in JavaScript & strong in Ajax
Direct experience with jQuery, Prototype, & Scriptaculous
Cross browser, cross platform knowledge is a plus.
Experience creating consumer facing web applications
Proven track record of identifying & championing new technologies that enhance the end-user experience, software quality, & developer productivity
Strong desire to learn emerging technologies and to innovate.
Ability to learn, think creatively and innovate, and to drive innovations into reality.
Candidate must show they can adapt to the rapidly changing technology landscape.
Flexibility and interest in doing new things – we are pioneers in taking brand new technologies and applying them in our product.
Proven track records (and accompanying portfolio) for translating similar business requirements and use cases into highly usable and innovative web-based applications will be highly desirable
Requirements:

Degree/ Masters in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent Technical fields.
Must work well under sustained pressure.
Team player with excellent communication & organizational skills
Self-starter that is results focused with the ability to work independently and in teams
2 years experience
