Job Description:

You must check, verify and confirm the receipt of goods and to ensure quantity received matches the quantity invoiced by the supplier /prices invoiced by suppliers matches prices in our Purchase Orders.
To ensure goods received from suppliers are stored in a First In First Out (FIFO) manner with date of delivery indicated on the package and supplier invoices and/or delivery orders are in place upon delivery of goods.
You will need to co-ordinate with managers & admin staff in resolving issues related to delivery of goods including quantity, pricing and quality.
Work closely with external warehouses to ensure goods are received as per the import documents from the overseas suppliers for shortages reported. Carry out cyclical stock count.
You will be reporting to the Business Controller, as you are the main liaison for IKEA Food & Beverage (IFB) goods receiving and communication with suppliers on all matters with regard to the day-to-day delivery of goods in the IFB Department.

Requirements:

You have a natural ability to comfortably and convincingly communicate and present to all levels, both within IKEA and for outside parties.
Have the passion for home furnishing, an interest in retail and cost-conscious knowing that everything has a price tag.
You must have computer skills including Microsoft Office.
